Prom 2010 a big hit!

The Trumbull Marriott Hotel was transformed on April 23 into the south of France to represent the Monte Carlo theme of the Lauralton Hall Junior/Senior Prom. While glowing palm trees highlighted the entrance for more than 300 guests, tables decorated with sparkles, shells and even live fish set the festive mood. Junior Emily Marussich said “It was a night full of laughter, smiles and gorgeous dresses,” and junior Maria Palacios commented that “It was an exciting time, hanging with all my friends and dancing the night away.” The prom favor - navy tee shirt embossed with a golden tropical scene - will remind the juniors and seniors of their unforgettable special night for years to come. Prom moderators Tracie Serio and Corinne Chace are proud of their first attempt at this event and delighted that everyone had such a memorable time.
