Students recognized by national award program
Posted on Oct 10, 2010 Fifteen 2010 graduates and 8 current seniors have earned the designation of AP Scholar by the College Board in recognition of their exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement Program® (AP®) Exams.
Three students qualified for AP Scholar with Honor Award by earning an average grade of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and grades of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams: Erika Sekerak, ’10 of Monroe and Taylor Williams, ’10 of Bridgeport, and Margaret Wolf, ’10 of Shelton.
Five members of the Class of 2010 and eight members of the Class of 2011 qualified for the AP Scholar Award by completing three or more AP Examinations, with grades of 3 or higher: Catherine Condit, ’10 of Fairfield, Margaret Doyle, ’10 of Westport, Suzanne Fitzpatrick, ’11 of Darien, Leslie Gorzkowski, ’11 of Norwalk, Paulinka Grzegorczyk, ’10 of Orange, Marisa Lucchesi, ’11 of Norwalk, Lucy Moye, ’11 of Fairfield, Lindsey Petronella, ’10 of Norwalk, Kirsten Reed, ’11 of Milford, Danielle Sekerak, ’11 of Monroe, Katherine Siroky,’11 of Newtown, Victoria Sutton,’10 of Fairfield, and Lindsay Warren, ’11 of Milford.
