The annual Fine Arts Festival, held on the evening of May 4, combined a visual and musical presentation of the students’ achievements representing the entire year. Performances by the Advanced Vocal Ensemble and other members of the music department were enjoyed by the large crowd. Senior art students exhibited their portfolios consisting of batiks, tapestry weavings, pen and ink drawings and watercolor and acrylic paintings. Each student in the Ceramics, Graphic Design, Fundamentals and Drawing and Painting classes presented her most successful pieces. And, for the first time at the annual Fine Arts Festival, photography club members displayed their collection of black and white prints. The art and music students enjoyed sharing their talents with family, friends, and faculty who attended the evening festival.
