    <p> <P>Alyssa Reyes, ’06, daughter of Carlos and Migdalia Reyes of Stratford, has been awarded a Nutmeg Scholarship&nbsp;by the University of Connecticut. This scholarship honors the exceptional accomplishments of Connecticut high school seniors. All semifinalists and finalists in the National Achievement Scholarship Program, the National Hispanic Recognition Program and the National Merit Semifinalist Competition were eligible to apply. Selection&nbsp;for the award is highly competitive and valued at $14,600 annually, the full cost of tuition. Alyssa is one of 32 Connecticut high school students awarded either a Nutmeg Scholarship or Day of Pride Scholarship this year.&nbsp; </P>
