Students inducted into National Honor Society

Posted on Nov 13, 2007

Forty-seven students from throughout the region were inducted into the Lauralton Hall chapter of the National Honor Society at a Nov. 7 ceremony.

To be considered for this honor, students must have an overall grade point average of 90 or above and be deemed by Lauralton faculty to be role models in the areas of service, leadership and personal moral character.

"The inductees are a special group," said English teacher and group co-moderator Pam Boynton. “They are the best of the best--students who will most likely go on to attend Ivy League, or other selective colleges and universities. So many Lauralton Hall students achieve such great accomplishments.”

Eighty-nine students belong to the group.
