Career Day offers more than 35 presenters
Posted on Apr 21, 2008
More than 35 women--alumnae, moms, aunts, grandmothers and friends of Lauralton participated as Career Day presenters on April 9. These women talked about their careers, as well as their education choices, sharing some of the life lessons they have learned. The event included a wide range of presentations on the careers of these very diverse and vital women.
Following the keynote address by Marian Evans-Dillard, MD, ’81, Director of Health and Social Services for the City of Bridgeport, students chose to attend the three presentations that best fit their areas of interest.
Sponsored by the Guidance Department, Career Day was an outstanding success--a real stepping stone to help Lauralton students achieve their goals and follow their dreams.
