President Antoinette Iadarola; Interim Director of Development Sr. Pat Rooney RSM, ’54; External Relations Coordinator Julie Kinsella,’88; and Director of Historic Barns of Connecticut Todd Levine can all be heard on radio stations STAR 99.9 and WPLR 99.1 discussing the historic Lauralton Hall barn as well as the restoration of Connecticut barns in general. Lauralton Hall was recently awarded a $5,000 grant to assist in the stabilization of this very unique structure. The segment will air on two different shows on Sunday, August 23: “The Public File” on Star 99.9FM at 6am with the Lauralton segment on the second half of the show, at about 6:30am. “For the People” on WPLR 99.1FM at 7am with the Lauralton segment on the second half of the show, at about 7:30am. The show will also be accessible 24 hours a day on the web at WPLR.com for one week starting at 8am on August 23 through the evening of August 29. Listeners should be prepared to temporarily disable their pop-up blocker, or the pop-up audio player tool will not activate, and the segment will not be audible.
