Lauralton Hall’s Langley, Collins going Division I

Lauralton Hall student-athletes Keylantra Langley and Courtney Collins signed National Letters of Intent Thursday to attend Division I schools.

Langley will play basketball at St. John’s. In 2008-09, she averaged 15 points, eight rebounds and seven assists to lead the Crusaders to the Class LL state tournament semifinals. She is a two-time All-South-West Conference selection.

Collins is headed to UConn to play softball. The three-time All-SWC selection has a career batting average of .471, along with 101 hits, 89 RBIs and an on-base percentage of .650. Collins currently has a 3.9 GPA and will be a captain for the Crusaders in the spring.
