LH “Cool School” to air live on Feb. 12

Lauralton Hall has been chosen as a “Cool School” by WFSB Channel 3 Eyewitness News Anchor Mike Hydeck.

On Friday morning, February 12, from 5:00am to 7:00am, the Eyewitness Morning News will be broadcast live from the Lauralton Hall gymnasium.  

The broadcast will include a number of really “cool” activities that go on at Lauralton Hall and several student clubs will be featured along with the incredible school spirit that is displayed by the student body every day. Some club activities to be presented are a Youth and Government debate, an Environmental Club fashion show, Humanities Club members making sandwiches as they do every week for those in need at Beth-El Shelter in Milford and a demonstration of yoga and workout routines by the Smackdown Turnaround student-led group that promotes healthy living. Many students and club advisors will be interviewed.

Principal Ann Pratson states, “This is a great opportunity for fun and has generated much excitement among students and faculty. Enjoy the morning with us by tuning in next Friday to see a really “Cool School” in action!”
