“Christmas in the Mansion” to end after twenty years

Posted on Feb 18, 2010

After much thoughtful consideration, Lauralton Hall announces the discontinuation of our annual “Christmas in the Mansion” fundraising event. “With twenty successful years of “Christmas in the Mansion” behind us, it is now time to explore new, fresh, entertaining event ideas…events which will be less disruptive to the academic schedule and less demanding for our dedicated volunteers and staff, but equally enjoyable and profitable,” states school president Dr. Antoinette Iadarola.

Dr. Iadarola continues “we express our warmest thanks to everyone who has made “Christmas in the Mansion” such a celebrated, successful event:  the committee members; the amazing Lauralton community of young women and their families, alumnae, and staff; dedicated volunteers; the many wonderful exhibitors, collectors, visiting authors and musicians; our sponsors; and especially the thousands of loyal “Christmas in the Mansion” visitors who returned to Lauralton Hall again and again to enjoy this spectacular event. We look forward to your continued support.”
