100 days to graduation for Class of 2011

Posted on Feb 20, 2011

The Class of 2011 celebrated the traditional 100 Days Dinner on February 16, marking the 100 day countdown to graduation. In attendance were the members of the senior class, administrators and teachers. The evening began with a blessing by Campus Minister Christine Ring, after which guests enjoyed dinner together.

Entertainment was provided by grand hypnotist Dan LaRosa. Several class members were hypnotized and participated in a very entertaining show.

Class President Michele Dalena spoke to the class about the significance of the 100 Days Dinner and how much the next few months will mean.

At the end of the evening, the seniors looked back by opening time capsule letters they had written to themselves in freshman year. The letters brought back lots of memories amid both laughter and tears.

Having passed the “100 days” milestone, Lauralton’s seniors are beginning to have bitter/sweet feelings about graduation and the many surrounding activities.
