Seniors attend Recent Alumnae GatheringPosted on Jan 12, 2006 The Alumnae Relations Office, along with the Alumnae Executive Board, hosted members of the Classes of 2002 through 2005 for the annual Recent Alumnae Brunch on January 4, 2006, in the Claven Auditorium. New this year to the event was the inclusion of the Class of 2006 who joined the alums for a special brunch and opportunity to discuss “life after Lauralton.” Alumnae Jessica Vigliotti, ’05, a freshman at Fairfield University, Colleen Lynch, ’03, a junior at Duke University and Caitlin LaCroix, ’03, a junior at Holy Cross, each spoke to the seniors about the college process and the many opportunities that await them after graduation. The interactive discussion allowed members of the Class of 2006 to ask many questions about college life and talk directly with alumnae representing colleges in which they are interested. Alumnae Board Vice-President Mary Lou Conforte Castracane, ’63 also addressed the group describing the Class Agent Program and the many opportunities to return to Lauralton as active alumnae. Alumnae Relations Director Kathleen Kearns Donahue, ’80 reminded alumnae to join the on-line community on the Lauralton website to remain connected with each other and their alma mater. Recent alumnae are encouraged to contact the Alumnae Relations Office to offer suggestions about the format of future gatherings. |
