  Students help needy families celebrate EasterPosted on Apr 07, 2007
Lauralton Hall students embraced the spirit of holiday giving again this Easter. Easter baskets and gift certificates donated by the students were delivered on April 2 to Mercy Learning Center in Bridgeport for distribution to families touched by the Center. Freshmen participated in the project by creating 26 Easter baskets, each including stuffed animals, reading books, coloring books, crayons and other assorted toys as well as the children’s favorite…Easter candy. Sophomores, juniors and seniors made donations toward the purchase of gift certificates to provide essential needs for the families. The Lauralton community takes great pride in our students’ generosity and commitment to giving to those less fortunate.
