 AVE sings at Breast Cancer WalkPosted on Oct 16, 2007
Lauralton Hall’s Advanced Vocal Ensemble was selected to sing the National Anthem at American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk held in Westport, CT on October 14. This year marks the 13th year that the event was held in Westport; it remains Fairfield County's largest one-day walking event with approximately 5,000 participants raising roughly $500,000 for breast cancer treatment, research and services for breast cancer patients. Lauralton’s Advanced Vocal Ensemble was selected by the organizer of the event after she heard about the many recent honors AVE and Concert Choir have been awarded.
