  Students prepare Thanksgiving baskets for needy familiesPosted on Nov 20, 2007
Once again the Lauralton community reached out to the poor and neglected in our local community by assembling Thanksgiving baskets for more than a dozen families. Each homeroom donated a variety of food items and gift certificates for turkeys. Happy to share what they have with those less fortunate, the students delivered the baskets to Mercy Learning Center in Bridgeport for distribution to needy families. This annual event is one of the many service projects the young women of Lauralton do to carry out the Mercy mission of Lauralton Hall and to emulate the love of Mother McAuley for the poor.
