    Father/Daughter Dance a big hitPosted on Feb 06, 2008
The Fathers Club sponsored Father/Daughter Dance held on January 26 was a huge success! Dressed in semi-formal attire, dads and their daughters entered the Claven Auditorium and danced the night away to music by WJ Productions featuring DJ Chris Capodicci. Ballroom Dance Club members demonstrated excellent dance moves and the guests had lots of fun trying out the moves, while representatives of McAuley Guild participated by providing and serving a variety of tasty treats. Door prizes and father/daughter photos added to the excitement. The evening ended on a very special note when the DJ chose “Daddy’s Little Girl” as the final song. The Lauralton community thanks parent volunteer David Macone, Dance Committee Chair, and the entire dance committee for their commitment in bringing back an old Lauralton tradition with a new twist. If the first Father/Daughter Dance is any indication, this promises to become an exciting annual event!
