 LH students SWIM for Jack McCarthy and Otto WongPosted on Jul 14, 2008Six Lauralton Hall students participated on August 2 in Swim Across the Sound. The Swim is conducted annually in an effort to raise funds for the fight against cancer. Maggie Archer, '10, Ariel Bond, '11, Christina Crossin, '08, Kristen Malski, '08, Jill Mullany, '10 and Mary O'Donnell, '09 swam in honor of two people taken by cancer this year, Lauralton Hall religion teacher Jack McCarthy and Otto Wong, a champion triathlete and ultramarathoner. Congratulations to these ambitious swimmers who battled large numbers of jellyfish and severe thunderstorms to raise more than $10,000 for the St. Vincent's Medical Foundation.
