Stephanie Garcia, ’09 attended and said “being a student-athlete, I found the lecture interesting and informative. As an athlete, I am always striving to improve my performance. Dr. Jenkins’ tips on nutrition were very helpful. He also made me aware of the impact that stress can have on one’s everyday life, both in school and in sports, and how it can affect performance.”

The lecture was presented by the prestigious Foundation for Wellness Professionals, Inc., a National Not-For-Profit organization comprised of health care providers who volunteer to educate their communities on wellness and disease prevention.
