Daily rehearsal is underway for Lauralton Hall's upcoming performances of Roger’s & Hammerstein’s The Sound of Music, starring Lauralton students and others from throughout the region. Shows will be in the Parsons Complex Auditorium, 70 West River St., Milford, at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, October 24; at 7:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 25; and at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, October 26. Tickets can be purchased at the school now or at the door. The ticket price is $15 for adults; $10 for students and seniors. Cash and checks are accepted. Caroline Holguin, ’10 participated in the Global Young Leaders Conference (GYLC) this summer. This is a unique leadership development program for high-achieving students organized by the Congressional Youth Leadership Council that brings together outstanding young people from around the world to construct critical leadership skills in a global context. Over the thirteen days at GYLC, Caroline explored Central and Eastern Europe (Vienna, Budapest, & Prague), uncovering the challenges of global leadership, engaging in fast-paced experiential simulations and honing her leadership skills.
